It is interesting to compare it to the original French model (this is made in China),   the modern version has more exterior details and a full interior.   It is still made from plastic but gives the appearance of being painted, to be honest I can't tell if it is painted or the plastic has just been polished.

The model is mint with it's large display tpe box.
