New from EBBRO in 2001

The Mazda company built trucks up until 1960 when the company's first car, the R360, appeared.  It was an imediate success and over 20,000 were built in the first year.  The R360 was powered by a rear mounted Vee Twin, air cooled engine. The engine was rated at 16 hp and drove through a 4 speed gearbox to push the coupe to a top speed of 56 mph (90km/h).

The Model Pet is #13 from Asahi's first diecast series.  it was first issued in 1960 and was bang up to date with a fully fitted interior and window glass. Scale is 1:42. Colours known are cream, grey, red and an aqua green.

The trio of coupes are by EBBRO and should be released in 2001, no doubt they will be as excellent as their previous models.

The blue R360 was built from an ARII plastic kit in 1:32 scale.

Kyosho make a number of microcars in their Old Timers series.  These are 1:43 scale cast from solid resin with simple painted windows.

And of course the Bandai tinplate Coupe, now where can I find one of these?
